It is so good when Mom and Bob come down to visit me. It is so nice to see them and to just be around them. They came down and stayed with me 2 night and I took a day off from school to play. We had a delicious breakfast of pancakes and fruit with homemade syrup and blueberry jam. There is a relatively new Springs Preserve that I've been hearing about and I drive on the 95 and see the big roadrunner and iguana on the freeway wall enticing me to go. 
So we went and enjoyed the afternoon walking around and learning about this wonderful oasis in the middle of the dessert. It is a wonderful place to take children and I hope to take my nephews if and when they come to visit me again. I loved it and would definitely go back. Locals even get a $4 discount.

It's actually free if you just walk around the grounds and don't go into the buildings. I love the kids area, which is free. Your nephews will love it!

How fun to have your Mom and Bob for a visit. I just love them. And you get to see family every now and then. Not many venture down our way.
